What can I do to make sure I get good value?
If you’re looking for a new CRM provider, you can use our top tips and these questions to make sure you get good value:
If you’re offered an initial discount on licenses: When does the discount end and what will the price go up to for licenses when it does? Make sure you have long-term visibility on pricing.
Do you use third-party consultants for implementation? You’re less likely overspend with a CRM provider that doesn’t use them.
Do you have any features that are capped? If so, what are the extra costs associated with this? Some CRM providers cap functionality and make you pay extra. Others have no caps at all.
If you need additional apps to get the functionality you need: How much will these apps cost per application per user? Make sure you factor the cost of additional add-ons into your budget. Some providers offer them as part of your package, others don’t.
What’s the year-on-year uplift currently? This will help you determine what percentage extra you'll have to pay each year.
Do you offer free consultancy days during implementation? Some providers will give you free days to help keep budgets down without compromising on outcome.
